About Stichting OSGeo.nl

OSGeo.nl heeft als missie “het stimuleren van het gebruik en de ontwikkeling van open source software voor geo-informatie in het Nederlandse taalgebied.” OSGeo.nl wil ontwikkelaars, gebruikers en toekomstige gebruikers van open source geo-software in Nederland en Vlaanderen met elkaar verbinden. OSGeo.nl was al ruim anderhalf jaar actief, zo werden in 2012 reeds de open source track op het Geo Spatial World Forum (GWF) en de OSGeo.nl dag (met 160 bezoekers) georganiseerd. Ook in 2013 werd acte de présence gegeven op onder meer het GWF. De OSGeo.nl dag wordt dit jaar in het najaar gehouden. OSGeo.nl: wegwijs in open geo!
