About Stickley Ace Hardware

Stickley Hardware’s journey began in February 1986 when Kim and Pam Stickley purchased the Nappanee Coast to Coast store. Just two years later, they expanded by acquiring Nappanee True Value, operating until 1990, when Coast to Coast filed for bankruptcy. That year, Stickley Hardware transitioned to the Ace Hardware brand—a partnership that continues today. Growth continued with the 1993 purchase of Ligonier True Value, followed by the acquisition of Six Span HWI in 1997, bringing the total to three Ace Hardware locations. In 2006, the second generation of the Stickley family began stepping into leadership, ultimately taking full responsibility of daily operations by 2015 when Kim and Pam retired. Under the next generation’s guidance, the company expanded further—acquiring LaGrange Ace Hardware in 2015 and Bremen Ace Hardware in 2017. In 2025, Kyle and Erin Stickley purchased the Nappanee and Bremen locations, continuing the family tradition of service, community, and quality. From a small-town hardware shop to a multi-location business, Stickley Hardware remains rooted in family values and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
