Stiffe Hooker Ltd is a multidisciplinary practice working across the fields of Architecture, Engineering and Interior Design. Our primary objective is to provide clients with innovative, effective and pragmatic design and construction solutions to fit any scale of brief. Originating in Whangarei in 1952 as a small Architectural firm, the following years saw a gradual expansion and the company progressed with offices being firmly established in Auckland and Rotorua. Structural and Civil Engineering Design was incorporated into the practice in the early 1970’s, providing holistic and advanced design and construction solutions. Stiffe Hooker Ltd takes pride in providing a solid foundation to our employees, several who have been with the firm for over 30 years. We maintain a strong focus on industry developments with on-going training considered to be an integral part of our company philosophy. A well organised overhead structure provides management and support to the 20 plus team members, who bring extensive local and international experience to each and every project undertaken. Our portfolio of projects includes: • Individual and bulk retail including supermarkets, standalone stores and large scale shopping centres. • Warehousing, manufacturing and distribution facilities. • Industrial developments such as, cool store facilities, sawmills and factories. • Office and administration buildings for large and small corporations. • Community based projects such as, public halls, temples, educational institutions and healthcare sectors.
