About Stigall Counseling Services

I’m a counselor in Birmingham, Alabama with a background in both clinical therapy and spiritual care. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade as a hospital chaplain — sitting with people in moments of grief, crisis, and uncertainty. I’ve also worked as a trauma therapist at a child advocacy center in Birmingham, supporting children, teens, and families through pain no one should have to carry alone. These experiences shape how I show up: grounded, compassionate, unafraid of what hurts. I work with adults, teens, and couples facing grief, trauma, medical illness, spiritual questions, relational struggles, and the quiet ache of big life transitions. I also support those navigating the long echoes of childhood trauma — whether it’s surfacing now for the first time, or it’s something you’ve carried for years.
