Founder, James A. Ruggiero is a Fashion and Beauty photographer. He has worked with the world’s most prestigious photographers and brands including Hashi, Richard Avedon and Francesco Scavullo; Shiseido Cosmetics and Dentsu Advertising; Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar and Allure. As Ruggiero’s talent grew he was recognized by legendary Fashion/Beauty Celebrity photographer Francesco Scavullo. Scavullo hired Ruggiero as first assistant photographer and studio manager. During his time with these photographers and companies Ruggiero worked with many of the top names in the fashion industry such as Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Cristy Turlington Burns, Paulina Porizkova and Elle Macpherson. In addition, he has also worked with many of the top talent in history such as Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, Bill Cosby, Heather Locklear, Barbra Streisand and Kim Basinger. Susan Sarandon, Monica Bellucci, Ron Howard, Madonna, Luther Vandross and more. Ruggiero’s executive titles include Executive Producer, Producer and Director; he has also owned and operated two successful New York based modeling agencies. He has had the honor to work alongside Mr. Dan Petrie Sr. (“A RAISIN IN THE SUN and FORT APACHE, THE BRONX”), and as Executive Producer and Producer of “Try To Remember: The Fantasticks” the documentary on the world renowned longest running Broadway hit theatrical The Fantasticks; Liza Minnelli, Jerry Orbach, F. Murray Abraham, Tom Jones, Harvey Schmidt, Rita Gardner and many more. Most recently he accepted a senior executive appointment at United Spirits Studios and is a Film Producer for United Spirits Film Company. At United Spirits Studios Ruggiero is responsible for the design and build of production studios and their operations as well as directing and producing. Still Moving Pictures reopened its photography division in the summer of 2010.
