The Winyard family has proudly owned and managed their family business for the past 48 years, lovingly saving and restoring the castle from a derelict building in 1975 and officially opening in 1978. This magnificent Scottish castle sits deep within the Borders countryside, nestled in private grounds and surrounded by pine forests and a tranquil lake. The global award-winning Stobo Castle Health Spa is the ultimate escape, where guests can unwind in luxurious surroundings, enjoy world-class spa facilities, and enjoy some of the first class service that Scotland has to offer. From the sweeping driveway when one enters the castle, guests are enveloped into an environment of unrivalled luxury, serenity and calmness. The personality of each room is unique but all are rich and elegant with perfect ambience to make one feel comfortable. The internationally renowned Cashmere Suite is Scotland’s most luxurious and opulent bedroom. Guests at Stobo are drawn to the stunning 25m infinity pool with panoramic views of the Scottish Borders countryside, alongside the giant Hydro pool with soothing water jets. A full schedule of fitness classes runs daily, led by experienced trainers and suitable for all levels. The spa also features a steam room and sauna, ladies-only health suite, three outdoor hot tubs, state of the art gym, fitness studio, and relaxation suite. The gently burbling Japanese Water Gardens are truly spectacular and are specially designed to promote a Zen-like calm.
