At Stopsave, our mission is to take the risk out of work. We’re experts in safety, and we’re here to ensure that no one is exposed to unnecessary danger, whatever the environment. Stopsave offers a comprehensive range for sale and hire – but we’re much more than just an equipment supplier. Our services include inspection, repair, re-certification, training and consultancy, including advice on legislation. Stopsave, was established in 2000, to provide a specialist service in the provision of height safety equipment. The focus of Stopsave, from the outset, was to offer an exceptional level of service to its client base. This meant significant investment both in sale and hire stock to ensure, in the majority of cases, a 24-hour response. Stopsave are the exclusive service agents for Honeywell/Miller & Tractel in the North of Scotland and are also service agents for the majority of Height Safety manufacturers including Ridgegear and Checkmate. Stopsave currently employ four experienced and fully trained engineers, who between them have over fifty years’ experience in the industry. Given the harsh conditions faced by inertia reels and other height safety equipment in the offshore industry, the servicing of the inertia reels to ensure that, if put in use, they work safely, is an absolutely critical function offered by the Company. The Company expanded throughout its first decade working on and offshore, building up the largest Height Safety Hire Fleet in the UK, now consisting of over 4,000 pieces of Height Safety equipment. In 2012 the Company expanded its workshop and offices to meet the ever growing demand for its products and services. Stopsave are proud to work, on a repeat basis, with major clients throughout the North East of Scotland including Stork Technical Services, Cape, Wood Group, ATR, EMM, Bilfinger Salamis, Reel, Global Integrated Services, Bibby Offshore, Oceaneering, Diamond Offshore Drilling and Enermech.
