About Stories to Change the World
To move beyond apocalyptic visions of the future, Stories to Change the World builds platforms for dreamers all over the world to redesign predictive thinking and unite with one another. International Activist Collections Series: This newsprint publication project spans September 2020-September 2021. It is a curation of stories, fiction, non-fiction, poetry, visual art, activities, and calls to action, designed for the individual seeking off-screen, global, civic-engagement. This visually stunning collection is delightful, informative, and physical. Activist Collections is a kaleidoscope of windows into a universe of activism. Short Story Contests: About once per year STCW produces a short story contest about positive and possible futures. Through this process, would-be writers are invited to imagine, what if things go right? It is born of two beliefs 1) if we cannot collectively envision a positive future, it is impossible to build one 2) diverse input is imperative if we are to create the capacity for global sustainability. Free to enter, inclusivity is the fabric of contest.
