About Strangers No Longer
At a time of intense national pressure on immigrant communities, Strangers No Longer members are building community, that is "Circles of Support" -- in their parishes, in high schools, in immigrant communities and among friends in Michigan -- so that we can respond effectively to the call by Jesus (and Pope Francis and the US Bishops) to to welcome the stranger. SNL Is a network of Circles of Support formed in Catholic parishes, congregations and immigrant communities. Named after the 2003 pastoral letter written by Mexican and US Bishops calling for immigration reform, we support our immigrant neighbors and advocate for a comprehensive and humane immigration policy.
