About Strategic Crisis Simulations
Strategic Crisis Simulations is a student-run organization at the George Washington University affiliated with the Elliott School of International Affairs. Our organization focuses on empowering young professionals interested in U.S. foreign policy, international security, intelligence, emergency management, and humanitarian assistance through the development and facilitation of interactive and engaging simulations and wargames. Founded in Spring 2009, SCS offers GW students interested in international affairs the opportunity to broaden their knowledge base, develop marketable skills for future employment, and build a network of mentors in the foreign policy and national security fields through experiential learning. SCS also works with institutional partners in the GW and DC community to develop simulations. In the past, we have collaborated with the Elliott School's Leadership, Ethics, and Practice Initiative, Space Policy Institute, and Capitol Battalion ROTC. SCS is the proud recipient of the George Washington University's Center for Student Engagement 2018 Learning Through Action Award.
