About Strength in Numbers

Despite sports analytics being a booming industry, less than 10% of the industry consists of minorities. Our non-profit organization's purpose is creating a more diverse pipeline of underrepresented groups in the sports analytics industry. This first starts with brining awareness to young minority high school students that have a love & affinity of the intersection of sports & data, yet not knowing that these positions exists. Having FREE sports analytics summer camps around the country helps solves that. For minority college students, partnering with professional organizations where these students have an opportunity to showcase their skills by working on real-world projects is paramount in helping to advance their career.
