Since 2002 Stronghold has grown from a single welding truck to a five-acre state-of-the-art fabrication facility in New York’s Hudson Valley. With its origins in industrial metalwork, working with arts organizations took shape organically through key partnerships and referrals across the industry. Focusing on the fabrication of new artworks, conservation and installation services, over the last decade Stronghold has led projects for clients such as Friends of the High Line, Times Square Arts, Governors Island Arts, Creative Time, Madison Square Park, MoMA PS1, Christie’s, and many more. In 2023, Stronghold separated the fine arts side of the business into its own distinct company, Stronghold Arts, building on the success of over twenty years of experience and expanding its services to encompass a wide range of media.
