Structural and Civil Consultants (S&CC) Ltd is a North-East based company offering a surprisingly wide range of professional engineering services, based on a wide range of exceptional experience in both civil and structural engineering. S&CC has unusual expertise with conservation of historic and C20th buildings and design of negative-carbon structures in timber and stone. Our firm has the rather unusual advantage of having a team of senior qualified engineers, who remain directly involved in detailed design work rather than management. Our specialist areas involve structural aspects of building and civil engineering. We have unique knowledge of designing in unused British hardwoods such as beech, sycamore and ash as well as softwoods, saving the timber from being burnt and storing the carbon for the forseable future.
