Specializing in steam, fuel oil, lube oil, chemical, saltwater and freshwater hydraulic systems, and crane systems. SMS personnel are also trained in pneumatic controls, valve actuation, valve and pump maintenance, and hydraulic flushing. Our team of technicians, mechanics, and QA personnel work together to remove, repair, reinstall, align, and hydro test these systems. We also operate a full-service valve and pumps repair facility. We perform repairs, testing, and installation on nearly every type of valve and pump and are experienced with gate valves, globe valves, relief valves, boiler safety valves, swing check valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, pressure/vacuum valves, and duplex strainers. We remove, service, and install temperature and pressure control valves, operators, controllers, piston pumps, centrifugal pumps, wastewater pumps, fire-main pumps, lube oil pumps, and feed pumps from a diverse range of manufacturers. Our machine shop also provides all the necessary support for fabrication, inspection, repair, and testing of the equipment we service and sell.
