About Struthers Watchmakers
Founded by London watchmaker Craig Struthers and Birmingham antiquarian horologist Rebecca Struthers, the Struthers Watchmaking studio combines award-winning design with traditional fine hand skills in twenty-first century British watchmaking. By applying abilities acquired from years spent as vintage and antique watch restorers with their training in jewellery and design, the Struthers re-commissions high-grade antique and vintage watch movements recycled from the past. The playful concept of restoring and modifying to give a contemporary purpose creates instant provenance to modern design by allowing the reinvention of intended purpose. The Struthers supports British industry with traditional collaboration. Whilst providing all watchmaking skills in-house, the Struthers are proud to work with experts in the fine skills of jewellery, stone setting, engraving, leather work and furniture design as well as other award-winning designers in the same way watchmakers did hundreds of years ago.
