We are involved in all facets of a project lifecycle from planning to design, installation oversight, commissioning, close-out and transition. Larry Studdiford, President and founder has a 29-year aviation career that includes design, project/program management, asset management and commissioning of complex BHS and Checked Baggage Inspection Systems (CBIS) comprising technology integration, configuration management, specification development, and commissioning for airports worldwide. STS has an extensive functional knowledge of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and its policies and procedures, having worked alongside the agency through various contracts since its inauguration. He was one of the founding participants of the TSA Baggage Screening Investment Study (BSIS), and contributed to multiple versions of the TSA’s Planning Guidelines and Design Standards (PGDS), currently as a charter member of the PGDS Industry Working Group (IWG). As a previous member of the Washington Homeland Security Roundtable (WHSR) Deployment, Systems Engineering & Acquisition focus groups, he collaborated with TSA in development of the TSA’s five-year technology investment plan in response to the Transportation Security Acquisition Reform Act (TSARA) of 2014.
