About Student Activists Against Sexual Assault TU

The purpose of this organization is to work to end sexual violence by supporting sexual assault survivors on campus and to educate students on the prevalence and prevention of sexual violence. To that end, this organization engages in awareness-raising campaigns, initiates supportive services, connects victims with appropriate services, assists victims through the adjudication process, and advocates for victim rights and protection across the Temple University campus and beyond. In both 2023 and 2024, SAASA was awarded "Student Organization of the Year" and the "Best Collaboration Award." We are honored in our recognition, and lucky to have such dedicated, passionate members. In collaboration with Uber, we were able to provide $350,000 in ride vouchers to Temple students in unsafe sexually situations. This past year we assisted in securing the "It's On Us PA Grant" which allocates $20,000 toward prevention efforts on our campus.
