The Student Housing Initiative investigates the factors that motivate student decisions on housing and relays insights to decision-makers in real estate and politics. SHI was founded in 2023 to address the lack of student representation in policy decisions on housing. Since our inception, we have been actively taking strides to bring the student voice to the forefront of the housing debate. By pairing data-driven insights with informed thought leadership, we have established a track record of impact in Western Canada. Since summer 2024, the Student Housing Initiative has migrated under the Studenthaus banner.
