About Student-Led Academic Peer Study
The Student-Led Academic Peer Study (SLAPS) Program offers weekly study sessions for students seeking to take initiative in their coursework, enhance their understanding, and maximize their potential in class. The purpose of SLAPS is to provide an extra source of review and content mastery for UF students. SLAPS hosts structured peer-led study sessions each week that foster academic success, enhance learning experiences, and promote collaboration between students. Through guided discussions with organized study plans and accessible resources, the program seeks to improve student retention and subject comprehension. SLAPS strives to be a program where students can feel comfortable asking questions — a place where a student can easily learn content at his/her own pace and level of comfort.
