About Student Legal Education Group
The Student Legal Education Group (SLEG) is a non-profit, non-government organisation that was founded by passionate UNSW Law students and is dedicated to equipping disadvantaged members of the community with the knowledge to understand, engage with and access the law. For over 40 years, we have partnered with the UNSW Law & Justice Faculty to deliver engaging workshops on Criminal Law, Police Powers, Consent & Sexting, Cyberbullying and Employment Law. Through these workshops, we seek to educate and empower schools, as well as local and regional community groups, with the knowledge to understand, engage with and access the law in a practical context. What sets SLEG apart is the opportunity to make a direct and lasting impact. By becoming a Presenter with us and delivering these presentations to students across NSW, you're not just teaching the law - you're empowering young people to confidently navigate the legal system with an understanding of their rights and responsibilities.
