Founded in 2017 by John Paul (JP) Latham, Student Motorsport leverages over two decades of motorsport industry expertise and a decade of educational insight to bridge the skills gap and cultivate a robust pipeline of career-ready talent for the dynamic world of motorsport. We are at the forefront of shaping conversations around the future of the sport, understanding the evolving demands placed on students and educators as new technologies and industry opportunities emerge. Since its inception in 2022, our unique inter-class motorsport competition has provided educational institutions with the opportunity to establish and run their own racing teams. Now known simply as Student Motorsport, our initiative offers a comprehensive platform built on sustainability, providing educators with valuable resources across various courses, and most importantly, delivering invaluable hands-on, real-world experience for students. Our growing portfolio of Awards further enhances this experience. Our vision extends beyond the competition. Student Motorsport is committed to the ongoing development of our racing program, a thriving online network, a comprehensive resource library, a impactful placement program, and engaging industry events.
