About Student Services

Established in 1956, Student Services, Inc. (SSI) is a Pennsylvania not‐for‐profit corporation, approved as a 501(C)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code. It is a legally separate entity and was formed to provide services to the University community that are not available through the State System of Higher Education. SSI currently: ● Operates the University store; ● Operates digital signage; ● Provides vending services including laundry operations; ● Operates the copy shop; ● Provides technical services; ● Provides bookkeeping services for student organizations; ● Manages the student union building; ● Manages the fitness center; ● Provides ticket sales for campus activities and events; and ● Provides check cashing services. SSI is operated by a professional staff including the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Business Officer and is also governed by a Board of Directors consisting of trustees, faculty, staff and students of the University.
