About Students for Global Health @ UW
Students for Global Health is a public health RSO that fosters interest and literacy in public health issues among members. We encourage engaged membership by volunteering at local community organizations and by nurturing a partnership with our international, sister organization, Manava Adhikar Seva Samiti (MASS). Students for Global Health aims to strengthen the movement for global health equity by empowering students and communities to work together to improve the health of people around the world. By educating ourselves on important topics in global health, fostering community both on- and off-campus and supporting our partner, Students for Global Health creates an inclusive environment for all those interested in health. To promote our cause of advancing health equity, we collaborate closely with our international, sister organization MASS in Odisha, India. We collaborate with their team to learn about public health issues in their community as well as support their efforts through fundraising campaigns on UW’s campus.
