About Studio Gert Voorjans

Gert Voorjans is an interior architect well known for his unique and eclectic style. He has designed homes around the world for the most important residential, hospitaly & retail projects. Gert has created environments that are richly layered with influences from the east and the west, suffused with colours, the results of which are visually stunning. Gert Voorjans studied Interior Architecture in Hasselt, has a post-graduate degree in Art History from Siena and a post-graduate degree in Styles & Arts from Sotheby’s in London. He spent the first years of his career at the antiques collector and decorator Axel Vervoordt, for whom he worked for seven years. He built on Vervoordt’s philosophy and added to it his own sense of place, something that brought him to the attention of Belgian fashion designer Dries Van Noten, who commissioned him to design all his retail outlets around the world as from 1995 on. In 1997 he opened his own interior design studio in Antwerp and in 2013 Gert Voorjans Asia Limited was established in Hong Kong. AD Collector & AD France has named him one of the best interior architect.
