About Studio Grayscale

Studio Grayscale are a commercial interior design studio, based in Melbourne. We specialise in customised café design, restaurant design, shop design, beauty clinic design and salon design. We thrive on a wide mix of clients – adapting and developing design custom solutions to suit each client's requirements, after gaining an in-depth understanding of their offering and their target customer. We work with large national brands, from concept to completion, implementing designs for national rollouts and refurbishments. We also work on individual solutions for one-off sites. We value and retain quality, ongoing relationships with our clients. Our approach to design is one that is focuses on highlighting the brand, the product, or the service / offering. We work together with our clients to develop interior design solutions that cohere with their marketing strategy and align with their target customer. We understand that commercial interior design needs to be functional, therefore, we work hard to gain a thorough understanding of our clients' needs, everything from the functional requirements of their sales counter, through to their back of house operations. Our process always begins with thorough questioning so we can develop design concepts that are considered, and relevant. We know from experience that when designing commercial interiors, we always need to be considerate of budgets, and timeframes.
