About Studio Madbat
Thicker than Blood is an animated fantasy series. Written & directed by Sav Skoviak and produced by Amanda Esser. It focuses on a young vampire named Vex and the last remaining werewolf, Clyde. Some of the themes in this series touch on the isolation of being neurodivergent or queer, finding your purpose, class warfare, substance abuse, mental illness, as well as understanding someone through their flaws & loving them for who they are. This project has been in production since 2022 and still continues, hoping to one day be produced in full by our animation studio.
