About Studio Storms

Founded by Nanang Storms with 20 years of experience in architectural and interior design, Studio Storms is a design company based in Amsterdam specializing in luxury interior, furniture and home collections. SPACES - OBJECTS - SENSES Our belief in the power of design is reflected in a novel design practice that brings together creative disciplines we are passionate about: Interior Design, Design of Furniture and Objects, Design of Homewares and Accessories. SPACES Prior to the founding of the company, we worked on some of the most prestigious architectural projects around the world, such as STH BNK - the tallest tower in Australia and its Immersive Display Suite, the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, the NautaDutilh International Law Firm HQ and UNStudio Tower in Amsterdam Zuidas, Ardmore Residential Tower in Singapore, interiors for the largest investment bank in London as well as the Canaletto residential tower in London, The Residences at Mandarin Oriental Etiler in Istanbul and many more projects and competitions worldwide. We now bring this experience, credentials and our multicultural background toward understanding and fulfilling the design needs of our clients in the Netherlands and internationally. Our focus is on bespoke interior and furniture designs with a contemporary, timeless and refined outcome. OBJECTS Studio Storms has a multidisciplinary approach which includes the design of furniture and objects. The Objects signature collection of furniture designed by Studio Storms uses only natural materials such as stones, metals and sustainably-sourced FSC-certified woods for timeless pieces that stand for beauty and quality. SENSES We believe that design can influence our daily lives to the smallest detail. Our upcoming Senses collection of Homewares and Accessories is dedicated to transforming the everyday with novelty, emotion and joy.
