Studio Zedd is a highly diverse design company specializing in spatial design from an interior perspective - from retail to commercial and residential, from furniture to production displays and packaging. We live in a time where flexibility and mobility are a high priority to enable us to sustain our diverse lifestyles. Creating spaces with a high level of flexibility enables the user to utilize areas as their needs change. By designing these areas with a range of mobile pieces of joinery, the space stays flexible and will enable the user to mould it as their lifestyle changes. This flexibility also caters for New Zealand's love of the outdoors. Studio Zedd endeavours to look at space in the widest context. Space is determined by the presence of people. With a degree in cabinetmaking, I put great emphasis on joinery specifically designed for the user and the space in which it is built. This strengthens my concept that joinery, colour and light are the interface between making the interior work to its full potential in creating a functional and comfortable environment for its inhabitants
