About StudioExe Architects

Welcome to StudioExe. StudioExe Architects was conceived to create beautifully crafted, high quality, low energy architecture both in the city and countryside. We are an RIBA Chartered Practice specialising in high end residential ranging from sensitive adaptations of existing buildings to signature bespoke houses. Our design-led studio creates contemporary buildings of different scales for a variety of different clients. Professionalism and sustainability in the widest sense underpins StudioExe’s creative output. We are passionate about the need to reduce the impact of buildings on the environment. Prior to establishing StudioExe in 2019, Michael Bayly worked at award winning Architectural practices in Sydney, Australia and London for 12 years, then as Associate Director at an Exeter practice upon relocating with his family to the idyllic estuary town of Topsham, Devon. Through extensive experience designing high end residential and commercial projects StudioExe has earned an excellent reputation for sensitive and innovative work which is both technically sophisticated and rigorously detailed. The combination of an individually run practice and a carefully selected number of projects in development at any one time, enables us to offer an exceptional level of service to our clients. We love what we do; delighting in the detail, the use of light and materials as well as forging close relationships with the client, design team and wider stakeholders.
