What is Studyond? Studyond bridges the gap between science and practice. Using a unique, three-sided matching approach, we connect students, universities (of applied sciences), and companies to foster socially relevant and impactful thesis and research projects. Who is behind Studyond? Studyond serves as the technical implementation partner for an Innosuisse-backed initiative, collaborating with top research institutions including ETH Zurich, the University of St. Gallen (HSG), and OST – Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences. Our implementation partners also include the Swiss Employers’ Association and Economiesuisse. What drives Studyond? The name "Studyond" combines "Study" and "Beyond," reflecting our core mission: empowering students and researchers to produce relevant knowledge that extends beyond the academic world, driving sustainable, real-world impact for society. Why Studyond? *For Students* Finding a career-relevant thesis topic, connecting with the right academic supervisor or industry experts can be a challenge for students. Studyond simplifies this process by providing students with an easy way to discover career-relevant research topics, gain access to industry experts, and academic supervisors who can guide their work. *For Companies* Many companies struggle to access academic resources, connect with students/professors, and effectively position themselves to attract the leaders of tomorrow. Studyond offers a platform where companies can showcase innovative thesis topics, engage with top talent across universities year-round, and establish enduring connections. *For Universities* Researchers face challenges in building strong industry networks, which in turn require considerable administrative effort.
