About STX Engine
Since STX Engine launched as a diesel engine manufacturer in 1976, it has been absolutely filling the very essential role to make world-leading Korean shipbuilding industries. STX Engine has manufactured high-tech medium-speed diesel engines, which have been sharing 70% of the domestic market. We produce various engines for Defence Industry (such as K1AI tanks, K-9 self-propelled howitzers and military vessels), Civilian Industry (such as container ships, LNG carriers, oil tankers, fishers and locomotives), and Diesel Engine Power Plants. We export more than 90% of the whole marine diesel engines and multifarious power plants of our own to Asian, European, Middle Eastern and African markets. With considerable concern for Environment, STX Engine has expanded its business area to Alternative Energy and Environmental Facilities like Solar Power System, Wind Turbine System, FGD(Flue Gas Desulfurization), EP(Electrostatic Precipitator) and De-NOx Facility. Scores of projects have been successfully performed in Korea and overseas also.
