Sublime Acoustic – High-Performance Analog Active Crossovers Founded in 2015, Sublime Acoustic was created with a single mission: to bring high-quality analog active bi-amping to the market at an affordable price. Our journey began in 2014, when we built our first crossover prototypes and experienced firsthand the massive improvements in sound clarity, definition, and warmth that analog active crossovers provide. Unlike passive crossovers, which degrade sound quality in multiple ways, active crossovers preserve detail and precision by splitting the signal before amplification, utilizing higher-quality, high-precision components. While professional recording studios and high-end sound systems have relied on active crossovers for decades, the consumer audio market has lagged behind—mainly due to the high cost of quality analog active crossovers. Before the launch of the Sublime Acoustic K231, a good analog active crossover would cost at least $3,000. We set out to change that, making this elite audio technology accessible to more enthusiasts without compromising on performance.
