About Suc Suc

Suc Suc is an education hub for natural wine based out of Barcelona. Our aim is to make knowing about natural wine an approachable endeavour for all. We create resources to which suc-cers for natural wine can turn, for learning, growing, communicating, debating, and organizing. Wine isn’t rocket science… not if it’s natural, anyway… Suc Suc offers classes, courses, and tastings in Barcelona, in both Spanish and English, on a wide variety of themes in the world of natural wine, to professional and nonprofessional participants of all backgrounds and levels of experience. We also offer consulting, staff training, event planning, and communication services for professional clients in the hospitality and wine industries and beyond. Pretty soon, we will grow even further: beyond Barcelona, into online spaces, into other languages, and into longer, more intensive educational programming. Suc Suc is the brainchild of sommeliers and communicators Ida Mogren and Benji Sher. We met in 2016 in a formal, self-serious sommelier diploma program in Barcelona. Since then, we’ve seen, strategized, and practiced better ways to teach and learn about wine. Ida comes from the world of digital marketing, creative strategy, event planning, and project management, and Benji from a background in service management and hospitality consulting, import/export, copywriting, and education.
