About Successful Mums Career Academy
Successful Mums Career Academy is an award-winning training company offering fully funded career focused, back-to-work and business start-up training, aimed at mums (but everyone is welcome!) Created in 2014, after seeing first-hand the barriers that mums faced returning to work. Spurred on by a background in coaching and training, Jane Knight embarked on a mission to give 100 mums the 'kickstart’ they needed to get back to work. It paid off. But didn’t stop there. To date we have supported over 10,000 mums (and dads)- but that isn’t enough, we want to be there for every mum. Every mum who doesn’t believe in themselves. Every mum who doesn’t know where to start and every mum who is being held back in their career. Working with local government, entrepreneurs and Industry specialists we offer bespoke training courses that are relevant to mums. Utilising the skills network learning platform, our in-house team has designed all our resources which have been agreed by primes and awarding organisations. Most importantly our training is accessible and flexible for our learners, they are able to complete the courses in their own time around childcare, with group weekly webinar to bring learners together, and so they can meet like-minded individuals. Successful Mums has secured direct claim status, and we have also been commended for our unique delivery model that is responsive to our client’s needs. We carry out a robust onboarding process and are committed to signposting any the learners that aren’t eligible, so one is left behind. We forge partnerships with employers through our employer projects, championing forward-thinking and flexible working and offer a free job board to showcase vacancies and attract our highly skilled mums. We run Women Returners Days for corporates and bring these women to employer’s doors to support equality and inclusion. We believe being a mum enhances, not halts, your career.
