Sue Pemberton International Award Winning Master Haircolor Specialist, Educator, Platform Artist & Color ICON. Sue has spent decades Educating Stylists, Educators, Platform Artists and Global Education Teams in Haircolor from the Science, Chemistry to Placement, Artistry & Photographic Work. Sue is accomplished in color chemistry, practical and advanced application, techniques, salon artistry, and fashion while also maintaining a keen sense of real world wearability and practical application. Her most outstanding achievements are in color, where she is active as an expert, an artist, a leader, and an inspiration among her peers and the industry. Since her arrival on the West Coast in the mid 80’s, Sue has established herself in the world of fashion and hair color by taking the approach that “…learning is never over, and knowledge equals power, power equals success” and that “…you can never know too much.” Pemberton works hard to continue to learn new techniques and find innovative new approaches to the use of hair color, with a key interest in vivid hues and unique color combinations. She learns from building off her mastery of the fundamentals of color technique, from her peers and mentors, and from experience and experimentation. Her influences include famous hair stylists such as Trevor Sorbie, Vidal Sassoon Artists Claude Monet & her favorite fashion designers.
