Suichoku Solar, a member of the Next2Sun group, a pioneer in vertical photovoltaics in Germany, is exploring new possibilities. The essence of Next2Sun's technology lies in the concept of vertical installation of special solar modules that utilize the sun's rays on both sides. These modules are called "double-sided" modules and are ideally installed facing east-west. As a result, electricity generation takes place primarily in the early morning, afternoon, and early evening. Vertically mounted double-sided photovoltaic systems can generate more valuable power than conventional south-facing photovoltaic systems while minimizing the impact on agricultural land, parking lots, and other land already in use. Suichoku Solar（スイチョク・ソーラー）は、ドイツの垂直設置型太陽光発電の先駆けであるNext2Sunのグループ企業として、新たな可能性を追求しています。Next2Sunの技術の真骨頂は、太陽の光を前後両面で活用する特別なソーラーモジュールを垂直に設置するという考え方にあります。 これらのモジュールは「両面発電」モジュールと呼ばれ、理想的には東西に向けて設置します。その結果、電力生成は主に早朝と午後、初夕に行われます。 垂直設置型の両面発電太陽光発電システムは、農地、駐車場等のすでに利用されている土地への影響を最小限に抑えつつ、従来の南向きの太陽光発電システムに比べて価値の高い電力を発電することが可能です。
