About Sukarya USA

We strive for a better society by supporting Sukarya, a women-led, women-centric, women-focused GuideStar (India) Platinum certified grassroots level NGO in India, established in 1998. Sukarya through its holistic approach addresses all major issues of women living in the urban slums and hard-to-reach villages of Delhi, Rajasthan, and Haryana. Their innovative programs have been immensely successful in educating and empowering marginalized children, adolescent girls, and women by giving them access to non-formal education, primary healthcare, and economic opportunities while ensuring gender equality at the grassroots level. In the last 23 years, Sukarya has served more than six million people, especially women and children, living in more than 600 villages and 120 slums n Delhi, Haryana, and Rajasthan with a small annual budget of $300K. We look up to philanthropic organizations, individuals, and corporations for support to build the capacity of Sukarya so it can reach out to bigger communities in need to fight malnutrition and anemia among underprivileged women.
