The Summit Awards organization is dedicated to excellence in the communications industry. It administers rigorous award competitions throughout the year to recognize excelling companies. Throughout its three-decade history, the Summit Awards has established itself as one of the premier arbiters of creative and communication excellence. Companies and individuals, from more than 50 countries and five continents, participate in award programs. Using rigorous evaluative criteria and blind judging processes, its competitions reward only those firms and individuals truly deserving of special recognition. The Summit Awards organization conducts three competitions annually: The Summit Creative Award - Recognizes creative excellence in companies and individuals with billing under $40 million. Includes all media and industries. The Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award - A unique competitive arena where the judging criteria are based on the true purpose of marketing communications; to influence the consumer’s knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs. Creative samples and a brief statement are included in the evaluation. The Summit Emerging Media Award - Created to recognize the world's communication pioneers. Those pushing the bounds of the communication badlands. All forms of emerging media are explored and examined.
