HOW IT BEGAN...Nancy Kagan has built Summit Dental Partners on a foundation of experience. Her journey began at the Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists when she graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist. After several years of clinical practice, Nancy developed another passion: making a difference in the dental industry. Noting a shortage of specialized temporary staffing solutions in the dental industry, she decided to pioneer and launch ‘Dental Temporaries’, a unique and innovative temporary placement agency serving the dental community. A BUSINESS IS BORN... Nancy began to envision a company that developed systems and procedures to make dental practices more efficient and successful. In 2004, Summit Dental Partners was born. The company’s philosophy was to not only to work with the dentists, but also closely in partnership with the staff. She focused on establishing trust and understanding each practice's unique goals and the barriers they were facing to achieving them. That approach, combined with a growing number of client practices experiencing notable growth, resulted in Summit Dental Partners earning an enviable reputation as "one of the best" in the growing dental practice consulting business. But Nancy wasn't done solving problems. ADAPTING & EVOLVING... As Summit Dental Partners continued to grow and develop relationships with dental practice teams in the Northeast and beyond, the team began to notice a primary pain point with their clients: A/R and insurance payment collection and posting. So, in 2018, Nancy launched a new division: Summit Dental Outsourcing. She hired an experienced team capable of keeping a trained eye on every detail, and began to provide peace of mind to Dentists and their teams across the US. What's next? No doubt the dental industry itself will inform that.Summit will continue to adapt to the needs of modern dentists operating in an ever-changing dental practice business climate. Stay tuned!
