About Summit Earthworks
Summit Earthworks Inc. "Summit", provides full service environmental solutions specializing in soils management from contaminated site remediation, soil treatment & disposal to habitat restoration. COR and ISNetworld certified, we serve a wide range of government, industrial, commercial and residential clients, working collaboratively with developers, environmental, geotechnical and civil consultants on their projects. Summit is experienced and committed to developing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships, especially among Indigenous communities. Core to our full-service offerings is Summit’s Soil Management Centres, including transfer and treatment facilities and landfills designed for the safe handling and management of contaminated soils, hydrovac slurries and wood waste to meet strict remediation standards for the protection of the environment. With two Ministry of Environment permitted Soil Management Centres located in Mission and our facility in Quesnel, a wood waste landfill and contaminated soil bioremediation treatment cell is now open to accept and process materials. Summit Earthworks can transport and receive materials by barge at our facilities in Mission BC and upcoming new transfer facility in New Westminster. Transporting materials by barge presents our clients with another cost-effective option for consideration, especially for remote communities or those situated on the Island. With each project, we strive to deliver our commitment to quality, achievement and integrity ensuring full Ministry of Environment compliance. All Summit Earthworks divisions utilize industry Best Management Practices (BMP’s), adhere to current WorkSafe H&S standards and implement proven construction techniques to safely execute diverse, complex environmental reclamation, remediation and earthworks projects.
