Its natural beauty, its peace and harmony calm the soul. Rarely do you see other holes or encounter other golfers. For as long as it takes to complete your game, you are in charge of your destiny... And it’s an experience you simply cannot afford to overlook in your quest for the perfect round! The Summit was founded in 1912, the ninth golf club in the Toronto area. The course was originally laid out by George Cumming, Head Pro at Toronto Golf Club, and George S. Lyon, the top amateur golfer at that time. In 1919 the course, much as it is seen today, was designed by the well-respected and prolific golf course architect, Stanley Thompson.
