Summit Petroleum, Inc., a Twinsburg, Ohio-based company was incorporated in 1984 for the purpose of exploring and developing oil and natural gas prospects. This is done through both drilling and acquisition. Relying on extensive experience in the Appalachian Basin, Summit Petroleum along with its staff and associates, generate the drilling prospects. Since 1984, Summit Petroleum has acted as General Partner for Limited Partnerships or as Operator for Joint Ventures; the primary activity of which has been the drilling and completion of gas and oil wells in northeastern Ohio and nearby areas. Summit Petroleum will continue to sponsor drilling programs, and will also tailor drilling programs to the specific needs of individual investors or investor groups. Summit Petroleum also acts as a consultant to other producing companies, private industry, and municipalities. The Summit Petroleum corporate office is located in Twinsburg, Ohio, from which we support our customers in Ohio, PA, and WV. We are committed to having the resources available to meet the requirements and needs of our customers. Summit Petroleum is currently active in the Marcellus and Utica Shale offering production operators/pumpers on various producer locations. Summit Petroleum, Inc. operates Clinton, Berea, Rose Run, Beekmantown, Utica/Point Pleasant Shale, Marcellus Shale and Burkett Shale wells and production facilities. Our operations include, well tending operations, operation of compression and gas conditioning facilities and the monitoring associated with wellhead production equipment. Our responsibilities also include coordinating day-to-day operational changes with production and pipeline supervisors and promoting safe work processes and procedures. Our facilities are operated and maintained in compliance with all company and applicable regulatory requirements.
