Summit Retirement Services is made up of qualified financial professionals who are passionate about helping individuals and families achieve their ideal retirements. Ken Nowland is the founder of Summit Retirement Services. When he entered the financial services industry in 2006, the primary focus was retirement income, tax and risk mitigation. That is still our guiding principle. We seek consistency and reliability above all else. It’s not what you earn, but what you keep that matters most. Ken is a registered Investment Advisor Representative (IAR). As an IAR he is held to a fiduciary duty of care, which means he is legally required to work in your best interests when providing investment advice. He also holds insurance licenses in Arizona and Oregon. When making insurance recommendations, the regulatory standard that applies is the suitability standard, which means that the recommendation meets your needs and objectives. Ken is committed to a career that utilizes his knowledge to help meet and exceed his clients’ needs. He attributes his professional and personal success to his strong work ethic, family values and sincere passion for helping others. Ken and his wife have one son and two dogs. In his free time, Ken and his family enjoy many outdoor activities, including hiking, biking and fishing, as well as photography, cooking and entertaining family and friends.
