About Summit View Survival & Preparedness
Our lead instructor Dan was born and raised in the Wyoming wilderness. He grew up hunting, fishing, farming, riding horses, and raising cattle. After Highschool Dan enlisted in the military and became a Rifleman & Designated Marksman in the United States Marine Corps. During his time in service he learned and perfected many skills focused around first aid, survival, and disaster preparedness. After his 5 years in service his passion for the outdoors lead him to become a Geologist. To this day he is continuously striving to learn and grow as a survivalist. Dan is supported by his beautiful wife Bri. Born and raised in the countryside of Washington State, Bri loves the outdoors. As a full-time elementary school teacher Bri brings a calm professionalism to the Summit View Family. The combination of these two foster a safe and effective learning environment.
