Since 1985, the Sumner Community Food Bank has been committed to its mission to provide nutritious food with dignity to our neighbors in need. As a volunteer-based non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of individuals, businesses, churches, and service clubs within the community to sustain our efforts. Our services are inclusive, ensuring that no one is turned away. We assist all individuals regardless of religious preference, race, national origin, age, sex, marital status, or disability, and all services are provided at no charge or obligation. Our offerings include healthy fresh and packaged foods, beverages, pet food, childcare items, and personal hygiene products, sourced from local businesses, farms, food drives, and individual donors. We also partner with other non-profit organizations such as the Emergency Food Network and Northwest Harvest to meet the nutritional needs of our community. Our history reflects a deep-rooted commitment to the Sumner area, King County and Pierce County. Over the years, we have grown and moved to accommodate our expanding services which reflects the great need in our community. This has been possible thanks to the dedicated support of the Sumner Rotary and our community partners. Volunteers are the backbone of our organization.
