About SUMO

SUMO is a Berlin based online luxury vintage and designer clothing store. We are artists and fashion lovers who are inspired by fashion photography, cinema, beauty, strength, and sustainability. Combining a passion for vintage designer fashion with a love for analog photography, we photograph our archive editorial-style with vintage film cameras. Our selection is curated according to a belief in longevity, quality and timeless styles, with a focus on designers such as Thierry Mugler, Azzedine Alaïa, Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent, and Dior, amongst others. We keep our style very distinct with strong silhouettes, sharp tailoring and form-fitting garments mainly from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. As a growing name in luxury resale since 2020, we have garnered a strong client list of retail buyers, collectors, stylists, and costume designers. We have had our editorials published by leading fashion photography magazines, and most recently we were listed by Vogue Australia as one of 27 stores to buy vintage online. With a focus on sustainability and giving new life to iconic designer pieces, we aim to continue inspiring our community with our monthly curated releases.
