SunCloud Health offers intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential treatment center with locations in Northbrook, Naperville and Chicago (Lincoln Park), IL, and one location in Gaithersburg, MD. We are committed to achieving the best possible long-term results for our patients and their families through highly personalized, integrated, uncompromising care. Our approach focuses on the unique history and needs of each patient, with special emphasis on helping those who are struggling with more than one (co-occurring) issue. Our team provides long-term support and disease management, for human beings of all genders struggling with alcohol and drug addiction, process addictions, eating disorders, mood disorders, traumas (PTSD), and more. Led by one of the nation’s most prominent clinicians, Kimberly Dennis, MD, and her team of handpicked clinicians, SunCloud utilizes an integrated and holistic care delivery model that is evidence based and designed to maximize the value we can create for our patients and their families. We know many of our patients are not afraid to die. They are afraid to live. Seeking oblivion and trying to escape consciousness by obtruding it with certain substances and self-destructive behaviors is what defines addiction. We know addiction is not a choice. It is a disease of the brain which is influenced by people's lives such that human suffering is a factor which cannot be ignored in treatment.
