About Sunrise Community Living
Sunrise Community Living provides residential care for developmentally disabled and mental health individuals. We are dedicated to helping those with developmental disabilities to live their life to the fullest, while creating a family atmosphere that creates a better tomorrow, and an atmosphere that encourages residents' in their day to day lives. We strive to offer a home that promotes self-respect, independence, and improves the quality of life for all our residents. Our intent is to offer the highest quality residential care in Anchorage. Our current location accommodates five individuals, each of whom have/will have individual fully furnished bedrooms. Other amenities include living room, family room, restrooms, two kitchens, and two dining rooms, which provide a variety of atmospheres to meet individual needs. Residents will have available nutritious meal plans that accommodate their personal tastes and nutritional requirements. We will employ a fully trained staff who will assist the residents in day to day living. Our vision is to create a structured, secure, and nurturing environment where individuals with developmental disabilities feel accepted as well as comfortable seeking social and economic independence and come to the realization they can determine life outcomes through education, effort and correct practice. At Sunrise Community Living we are committed to maintain and improve the quality of life for adults with developmental disabilities. We will address our resident’s physical, social, and mental needs by providing exceptional care in a safe and beautiful home. Our focus is to create a supportive and nurturing environment that enables each resident to live life to the fullest in a family atmosphere, in which dignity, privacy, and independence is constantly maintained.
