Suomen Jääkiekkoilijat ry eli Pelaajayhdistys on vuonna 1973 perustettu jääkiekkoilijoiden etujärjestö. Yhdistyksen tavoitteena on edistää ja valvoa pelaajien asemaa työntekijöinä huolehtimalla pelaajien kollektiivisesta edunvalvonnasta sekä muun muassa vakuutus- ja sosiaaliturvan sekä jääkiekon ulkopuolisten koulutusmahdollisuuksien parantamisesta. Yhdistyksen puitteissa toimii vuonna 1982 perustettu Jääkiekkoilijoiden Koulutus- ja Ammatinedistämissäätiö. *************************** Finnish Ice Hockey Players´ Association is an interest group of ice hockey players, founded in 1973. Our objective is to promote and supervise the players´ status as employees by a collective safeguarding of the players´interests. We also aim at taking care of the players´ insurance and social security, as well as of their educational opportunities beyond ice hockey. The Ice Hockey Players´ Educational and Career Advancement Foundation, founded 1982, operates under the auspices of the Players´Association.
