The Finnish Youth Center Association (SNK ry) is the coordinating body for the cooperation, services and development of national youth centers mentioned in the Youth Act. The association promotes the social well-being and health of young people by supporting and developing national youth centers and the youth sector in Finland. The Finnish Adventure Education Network functions under SNK's umbrella, and the Finnish Adventure Therapy Network is a part of the Adventure Education Network. Finnish Youth Centres are supervised and subsidised by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The development of youth work in the Youth Centre Network is carried out by following the current Youth Act and The National Youth Work and Youth Policy Programme. We are Finland’s most popular school camp organiser, with an emphasis on experiential education. In addition, the centres’ Nuotta coaching supports young people’s social and life management skills. We also organise themed camps, nature schools and many other international youth events. ****** Ungdomscentren i Finland har en samhällelig och allmännyttig uppgift att stöda ett gott liv för barn och ungdomar.
